Frequently asked questions

How much does a lawn mow cost in Perth's southern suburbs?

Most small-to-medium lawns in our area are $55–$95 per visit. We quote upfront after you send us the details and a few photos — no surprises, no callout fee. Bigger blocks, clean-ups and tree work are custom-quoted fast, usually within a few hours.

Will Kiss My Grass actually show up on the day?

Yes — that's the whole point. You'll get an SMS the day before and again when the team is on the way. If we're ever delayed by weather, we tell you the moment we know — usually with a same-week reschedule.

What's included in a standard mow?

Mow, edge, whipper-snip, blow paths and driveways clean, and clippings removed. Gardens, trees and the rest are scoped in your quote. We bring our own kit, fuel and bin liners — you don't lift a finger.

Do I need to be home when the team visits?

No. As long as we can access the yard, the team will do the job and send you photos. Most of our regulars are at work when we visit. Locked side gate? Leave a note in your enquiry and we'll work around it.

What's the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your slot. Inside 24 hours we ask for a $25 fee to cover the team's time and drive — we're booked solid in summer and last-minute drops mean someone else missed out.

Is Kiss My Grass insured?

Yes — fully insured, ABN registered, and we carry $20 million public liability cover. Certificate of currency available on request.

How quickly can Kiss My Grass get to my job?

We're always around — our team members are based right across the south of the river, and we batch suburbs by day of the week, so a crew is usually already working near you. Tell us your suburb and we'll let you know when we're next in your area.

Which Perth suburbs does Kiss My Grass service?

We cover Perth's southern corridor — from North Fremantle across to Belmont, out to Byford, and south to Mandurah then back up the coast. That includes Bibra Lake, Cockburn Central, Spearwood, Coogee, Hamilton Hill, Munster, Beeliar, Yangebup, Atwell, Aubin Grove, Success, Hammond Park, South Fremantle, Bicton, Palmyra, Bertram, Wellard, Kwinana Beach and many more. If you're SOR, chances are we're already nearby.

Do you do tree lopping?

Yes. Tree lopping, trimming, pruning, shaping and full tree removals are all part of what we do across Perth's southern suburbs — it's the same service, whether you call it lopping, pruning or trimming. We bring the right gear for the job, take all the green waste away, and carry $20 million public liability insurance. Stump grinding can be done at the same visit.

Do you cut firebreaks and slash overgrown blocks?

Yes. We slash overgrown blocks and cut firebreaks across Perth's southern suburbs, from a single suburban block through to acreage, using heavy machinery. Jobs are quoted upfront from the block size and access. Fire-season slots fill up, so book ahead of your council's firebreak deadline rather than after it.

What is vertimowing, and does my lawn need it?

Vertimowing, also called dethatching, cuts vertically through the lawn to strip out the dead thatch layer that stops water and nutrients reaching the soil. It's why many Perth lawns stay patchy no matter how much they're watered. If your lawn feels spongy underfoot or water sits on the surface, thatch is the usual cause. We vertimow across the southern suburbs and take the thatch away the same day.

Do you take the green waste away?

Yes. Clippings, prunings, weeds and green waste all go with us — it's included, not a separate charge, and we bring our own bin liners. You don't need a verge collection or a skip.
